The Pop-Up Book

Items lke this pop-up book are not considered ephemera in the same way that something like a matchbook or a ticket would be, but rather might been as an ephemeral object, in that it was created to be used, be be played with, and to be enjoyed and not necessarily created to surveive long beyond its original use.

Children's books, under normal circumstances, will tear, stain, and eventually be discarded. When books like this are kept carefully, treate gently, and treasured in their original state, they survive long past their expected lifespan.
