During this period the office was held by William Edwin Van de Walle (1940-1941, 1943), J. Edward Hoffmeister (1942-1943), and Lester Oatway Wilder (1944-1954).

Scope and Content
Correspondence and subject folder files of the Dean of the College for Men. The early years appear to be incomplete, and the year 1943-1944 is missing. In addition, there appears to be some material of Mr. Wilder's as Director of Admissions.
