Scope and Contents note
The George Eastman Tuttle Papers includes diaries from 1868-1870, 1872-1875, 1877-1888 whose short entries reveal the daily activities of the Orleans County farmer. There are also two small notebooks, dated 1895-1896 and 1915, and a large photograph of Tuttle, circa 1890.

The George Eastman Tuttle Papers is open for research use. Researchers are advised to contact the Rare Books Special Collections & Preservation Department prior to visiting. Upon arrival, researchers will also be asked to fill out a registration form and provide photo identification.
