Eugenie was introduced to Claude Bragdon by his brother-in-law, architect Henry Wilkinson who was working on the Julier estate in Mt. Kisco, N.Y. After a courtship of several years, Claude and Eugenie were married July 8, 1913. During her marriage to Bragdon, and perhaps earlier, Eugenie practiced automatic writing. Following her death in 1920, Claude Bragdon published a selection of these writings, entitled Oracle.
