The collection consists of the correspondence of members of the Terry family, which has long been associated with the London theatre. Members of the family represented include Dame Ellen Terry, Edward Gordon Graig, Kate (Terry) Lewis, Arthur James Lewis, Mabel Terry-Lewis, Kate (Terry-Lewis) Gielgud, Frank Gielgud, Sir John Gielgud, and Fred Terry. Also included is memorabilia relating to the family and to the London theatre.
