Biographical / Historical note
Herbert James Menzie graduated from the University of Rochester in the Class of 1886. Before studying law at Yale University, he was a high school principal. In 1890, he was admitted to the bar at Rochester and was a member of the firm of Greene, Milliman and Menzie. In 1936, he formed a partnership with his son, Stuart M. Menzie, under the firm name of Menzie and Menzie. Mr. Menzie died June 27, 1942.
