Biographical/Historical note

John Henry Elferink (d. 1967) was a member of the University of Rochester Class of 1925. He is believed to have shot this film circa 1924.

After graduation Elferink worked for the Eastman Kodak Company. The film was transferred in August 2011 by his daughter Dorothy Maples on behalf of herself and her three siblings. It has been reformatted to DVD.

Scope and Contents note

The is a short piece that focuses on the senior men's class, featuring numerous individual close-ups, glimpses of the old Prince Street Campus, and a graduation procession outside the new Eastman Theatre.
