Biographical/Historical note

The Keidaeans are an honorary society for seniors that formed at the University of Rochester in 1925. Members are chosen based on their academic merits and are inducted each spring in a "tap day" ceremony. Originally all male, the Keidaeans began accepting women in 1971. The group is still active today.

Framed Constitution, typed list of member from 1924/25-2000/01, and photographs (April 15, 2008), transferred from the Office of the Dean of Students by Dean Matthew Burns, August 2017.
