Biographical / Historical note

Ethel Rogers graduated from the University of Rochester in 1907 with an A. B. degree. From 1908 to 1911 she worked for the American Baptist Publication Society. In 1918 she began working for the State Employment Bureau in Rochester, and in 1927 she became the supervisor of juvenile employment in Philadelphia. Miss Rogers was later a counselor at William Penn High School for Girls in Philadelphia.

Scope and Contents

The Ethel Rogers Papers includes diaries and published writings, mostly on vocational guidance for girls.
