Rochester photograph collection
Scope and Contents
This collection is comprised of photographs taken of sites in and around the city of Rochester. The collection documents the first half of the twentieth century, which was Rochester's largest period of growth. Included in this collection are photographs of Mount Hope Cemetery, area parks, and buildings in the city center.

The Rochester Photograph Collection is open for research use. Researchers are advised to contact the Rare Books, Special Collections, and Preservation Department prior to visiting.

In consultation with a curator, reproductions may be made upon request. Permission to publish materials from the collection must be requested from a curator. Researchers are responsible for determining any copyright questions.
