Upon arrival, researchers will also be asked to fill out a registration form and provide photo identification.

In consultation with a curator, reproductions may be made upon request. Permission to publish materials from the collection must be requested from a curator. Researchers are responsible for determining any copyright questions.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

The Optical Society of American Papers were received from Brian J. Thompson on November 8, 1971. The minutes of the regular meetings were received from the Rochester Section on May 1, 1979. Additional papers were transferred from the University of Rochester Institute of Optics on July 16, 2003.
